The BBCLC family came together last night and had our Annual Gratitude Gathering! We could NOT have had this gathering without the HUGE support from our families!!! We are so, so thankful for the VERY thoughtful donations, gifts, and goodies!

We sat around the table and enjoyed each other’s company while we enjoyed the delicious catered food and conversation. And we laughed A LOT!!!

We did not have a chance to play any games, but we were able to go around the table and say what we were Thankful for!

There is SO much to be Thankful for, especially around the holidays! We encourage you to share what you’re thankful for around your dinner table.

Some other activities and games you can play during the upcoming holiday (or even any day).

Conversation Starters- have a jar with folded-up questions. Each of you takes a turn asking the question that’s on the paper and then everyone will have an opportunity to share.

“What is your favorite family tradition?”

“What is the best memory of this past year and why?”

“What is the nicest thing someone has done for you this year?”

M&M Game- grab a bag of candy and have each person pick one piece of candy. Depending on their pick, you will ask them a specific thankful question.

Red- Name a Person you are grateful for

Orange- Name Something you are thankful for

Yellow- Name a Memory you are thankful for

Green- Name a Place you are thankful for

Blue- Name a Skill you are thankful for

Brown- Name Anything you are thankful for

Thankful Scavenger Hunt-

Find a person you love

Find something that keeps you warm

Find your favorite food

Find something that makes you smile

Find something you do that makes others happy

Find something you are thankful for

Lastly, something fun you can add to your Holiday Dinner Table is sticks in a vase with hanging laminated leaves that say what each family member/friend is thankful for!

From our family to yours, we wish you a very Happy and Safe Holiday! Be sure to come back as we will have more information on Relationships/Connections and Mindfulness!
