The BBCLC team came together last weekend and had our Season’s Greetings and Gratitude Holiday Party! We could NOT of had this wonderful gathering without the HUGE support from our families!!! We are so, so thankful for the VERY thoughtful donations, gifts, and goodies!

We started the night off with an amazing catered dinner, enjoyed each other’s company and conversation. We played FUN games and laughed A LOT!

With the upcoming holidays, these games help with building connections and just plain FUN!

Holiday Charades:

You can buy the game, or you can add holiday movies, characters, songs, etc. to a piece of paper and add them to a bowl. Each person can take a turn to pick one and then act it out.

Marshmallow Game with Reindeer Hooves:

Spread marshmallows all over the table. Give each person a plate and two solo cups. The point of the game is to get the most marshmallows on your plate within 20 seconds. The trick is that you are wearing cups on your hands (hooves).

Left Right Game- Holiday Edition:

These are easy to find on Pinterest and Google. Everyone sits in a circle with one gift to pass around. Every time you hear the word “left”, the person will pass the gift to the left and every time you hear “right”, pass the gift to the right. At the end of the story, whoever has the gift in their hands receives it.

Scoop the Money Challenge:

Spread money all over the table, including marshmallows or cotton balls. Give the person a plate and a spatula. Now blindfold them. They get 30 seconds to scoop money onto the plate. At the end of the 30 seconds, they get to keep what’s on the plate!

SO.MUCH.FUN!

As we moved into this week, our centers participated in a Winter Spirit Week! The teachers and children had fun dressing in festive attire all week long.

The spirit week goes along with our Positive Psychology topic of Positivity/Engagement and Meaning. It encourages bonding, engagement, school spirit, and FUN!

Along with dressing in festive attire, we celebrated the upcoming holidays with a Celebration party and Book Exchange! The teachers and children had so much fun with themed centers, activities, and art along with a special lunch!

From our BBCLC Team to you and your family, we wish you a very Happy and Healthy Holiday! Be sure to come back in 2024 as we will be focusing on the topic of Achievement and Shifting!
